She helped her mother on the raise of 4 other children.  She was a very worker person. The day of the Siege, she was in the Palace of Justice´s Cafeteria to replace her mother Rosalbina in the labors of Chef assistant.  The suffer for the disappareance of Luz Mary end up the life of her mother Rosalbina. Literaly her daughter gave her life for her mother.  Now the children will have to continue in this struggle for justice.

The 23rd of October 2015, the General Attourney notify the body of Luz Mary was identified in a private cementery "Jardines de Paz" in the north of Bogotá . This happenned 30 years after and Rosalbina, her mother was not even alive the notice.  Luz May was in the grave of the decesased victim Libia Rincon Mora. Now the status of Libia Rincon changes from decesased to disappeared. Also the proceeding for the notification to the family members of Rincon Mora lacked of human touch since the family was notified about the results of this exhumationsby online newspapers.

The family members of Portela Leon still request for the truth of how her victims was decesaed. Luz Mary was seen on a video, where she went out of the Palace after the assault with the army with and injured arm.  She was with the uniform of the cafeteria and the corps was given to the family Portela Leon with a piece of the uniform of the cafeteria.  This body is in International Oversight to corroborate the identity of Luz Mary and know the struggle for justice starts on the case of Rincón Mora´s family.
