She was the Dessert ´s Provider of the Cafeteria of the Palace of Justice.  She studied International Law and Diplomacy.  She had a little daughter, Debora.  Her life was dedicated to the prayer, she was member of a Christian Group.  Her mother found her purse in the Palace of Justice after the Siege but the documents and her Identification were pilfered.

Within the sentence of the Interamercan Court of Human Rights (CIDH) where the colombian state was sentenced for the crimes during the event of the Palace of Justice´s Siege, the court orders to clarify the doubts around the case that the rests of the magistrate Emiro Sándoval Huertas is the one of Norma Constanza Esguerra.  There is an ongoing study of the DNA obtained from the rests of Emiro Sandoval Huertas in Europe, in order to clarify to who does this bones belong.  In the necropsy of Sandoval Huertas there is the irregularity that says that the body had an uterus and if these is truth there a suspect for years that needs to be clarified if this persons was wrongly given to Sandoval´s family.  The family of Esguerra had to wait for around 29 years until the court give this order and still the notifications of the exhumation researches and proceedings are not correctly notified to the Esguerrra´s family.
